a online marketplace for freelance talent. Through our
free service, employers find top freelance
and contract talent locally, nationally. (Employers can
search for professionals by U.S. ZIP code)
Our web-based marketplace directly connects businesses with
over thousands freelancers who specialize
in several professional categories including:
web design, programming, graphic design.
Here's how our service works:
- Find Freelancer
Search our database for frelancers. Contact professionals,
and send them a project message.
- Post a Project and Register
After contacting professionals, we will prompt you to post
your project and register an employer account.
Once CNC staff reviews and approves your project, we post
it to the "live" marketplace, and pros submit quotes for
your project. (Most employers receive quotes from
pros within one to two days.)
- Select a Professional
Review professionals' submitted quotes, contact and interview
your favorite freelancer, and award the project to the best
professional. (You are under no obligation
to hire the professionals.)
- Escrow Payment
Per our Terms of Service, all payments related to a project
or professional on CNC.com must be sent and paid through
either SafePay Escrow or SafePay Billing. Protect
yourself, and never directly pay a professional.
- Complete Project Work
Work with the professional to complete your project.
When the professional completes the project work (as specified
in the online Project Deliverables ), either release your
escrowed payment or pay an invoice that the professional
generated through SafePay Billing .
- We Pay the Professional
After you release escrowed funds or pay an invoice, we automatically
generate a paid invoice for you and the professional.
We disburse the funds to the professional after deducting
a Project Fee .
- Provide Feedback
You and the professional provide feedback on each other.
